Project overview.

Working with our client Infor based in America and the building architect in Stockholm our team created a Digital Twin of this building in Kista, Sweden.  The architect was keen for us to utilise the design themes that were being used in the common areas so we were tasked with creating an interior design scheme that followed our client’s brief, whilst remaining sympathetic to the rest of the building. 

Our interior designers undertook the interior theming and space planning in collaboration with the client’s stakeholders, working remotely in the UK using Virtual Reality tools.

As the project developed we were able to provide an executable, fully interactive model of the building for use by the fit-out contractor and their team alongside the client’s Project Manager. With design changes and clash detection being dealt with inside the digital model there were significant time and cost savings during the physical build phase.

Once the build is complete we will host the Digital Twin model (complete with operating and maintenance data) for use by the operational team in the building. This will provide further efficiency savings during the lifecycle of the building.
