Project overview.
Silwood Science Park
Newcore Capital has been given approval by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for a 105,000sq ft life sciences centre in Berkshire to be known as Silwood Science Park. The new development will be adjacent to Imperial College London’s near Ascot. As part of their plan and infrastructure investment we were tasked with creating a 3D marketing video for a pre-let office/lab development.
Our Revit to gaming tech workflow enables us create an accurate 3D model of all the buildings and landscape. From this we produced a video to visualise Silwood Park. This workflow provides an opportunity to build upon this initial phase, should our client require additional marketing material. Using our models, everything from static CGI’s, 360 tours and Virtual Reality experiences can also be created, saving significant additional marketing costs.
Our idea envisaged a viewers’ journey starting with some establishing shots of the building’s exterior and surrounding parkland,
before travelling though the reception area to the lifts and then beyond, through a finished office floor and the mixed labs.
This project involved collaborating with the appointed architect Sheppard Robson who provided shell Revit site models, materials and landscaping specification.
